The Trek Begins

We have now met up with the Intrepid group who have organised the trek for us around the Annapurna mountain range. There are 4 Australians (1 man, 3 women), 1 American lady and a guy from Edinborough whos a few years older than us. The group are very nice and we rekon that the pace of the trek should be quite good. Us 3 and the guy from Edinborough are the only ones who are going to carry our backpacks, eventhough we have taken some things out and are leaving it at the hotel to collect on out return. At the moment its Day 4 and we are in Pokhora and up to now we have just been sight seeing, but tomorrow, Day 5 is when the proper trekking starts for 10 days, which we are all excited about! There may not be any internet access up in the Himalayas lol so the nexy post may be when we have finished the trek and we are back in Pokhora, but hopefully there will be at some internet at least once on the trek. If not then we hope everyone back home is well and we will post on here again in 10 days.
